Baby Photography
There is nothing quite like the beauty of a new baby, and it’s wonderful to capture these precious moments of the first weeks and months of baby’s life. We can capture lots of gorgeous images of your beautiful new baby on on a bed or bean bag, we may even be lucky enough to get some dreamy sleepy shots. At this age because baby can’t sit or push up on their arms, it’s great to get a selection of images of baby with Mummy and/or Daddy in lovely holding and cuddling poses. Past around 8 weeks there will also be lots of gorgeous smiles to capture.
The next key stage for photographing baby is around 3-4 months old when they start to push up on their arms and give us lots of cheeky smiles.
From 6 months of age and onwards we can capture great portraits of baby sitting up, clapping, playing with toys and generally having a very jolly time.
A baby photography session would take place in the comfort of your own home, garden or on location if the weather suits, and take around 1-2 hours.

Toddler and Child Photography
Not a baby anymore? Once your little boy or girl can stand up and walk they are officially a toddler! From the walking stage onwards it is great to photograph your child on location. There are so many beautiful parks and open spaces available to explore that make wonderful backdrops for a children’s photo shoot.
As with any age I like to have as much fun as possible with the children I photograph and put them at ease. We can talk about using props for your photo shoot, whether it’s fairy wings, rockets and robots or bubbles and balloons! You will no doubt have some ideas of your own about a favourite toy your child might like to bring, or a special place they might like to have an adventure, while I capture these cherished moments and joyous smiles.
An on location children’s photo shoot will take around 1-2 hours.
