What to say, where to start, how to begin?…
A few months ago I was contacted by Joanna O’Driscoll, owner and visionary of Little Tin Shed, Floral Studio.
A couple of years ago she had seen the family photography displayed in her friends home, created by me. At that time she told me she had taken my details, knowing that one day she would need them..
Well the day came, as the vision she had been working towards for a long time for her company ‘Little Tin Shed’ started to become a reality.
I love the story of how Joanna came up with the name of her business, as it originates from a passing moment. Whilst commuting home on a snowy winter’s eve, Joanna sheltered in a little tin shed on the train platform. Daydreaming, the concept for Little Tin Shed sprung to mind and building on her successful career in media, Joanna decided to ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’. Successfully retraining, the commute was swapped for the her desire to become a floral stylist.
So here we are, Joanna’s dream is now a reality, she has set up premises in Essex, her beautiful website for which I had the pleasure in completing all of the photography for is now live and she is busy as a bee completing beautiful orders for everything from hand tied bouquets, to upcoming weddings and corporate events. I had the best time producing the images which reflect Joanna’s business and limitless talent. Here are just a few of my favourite photographs from the day.
Where better way to leave it than with a portrait of the lady herself, who I now consider not just a client but a friend.
There is so much more to come from both of us, so watch this space!
